Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Audio Engineer based in Boston, MA, Washington, DC &/or Durham, NC with flexibility for some remote work. The Audio Engineer will be responsible for managing audio recordings, editing, and mixing sound for various multimedia projects. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and troubleshooting audio equipment, optimizing sound quality, and collaborating with creative and production teams to deliver high-quality audio experiences. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and precision to ensure the sound production aligns with client objectives and industry standards.
Qualifications
Expertise with microphones and audio engineering techniques
Proficiency in sound design and operation of audio-visual (AV) systems
Understanding of acoustics and its application in sound optimization
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality audio content
Experience in working collaboratively with creative and technical teams
Relevant certifications or a degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or a related field is an advantage
Knowledge of industry-leading audio recording and editing software
