Job Title: Production Apprentice Job Description

The Production Apprentice is an entry-level manufacturing position responsible for supporting multiple areas of production, including assembly, quality control, packing, staging, finishing, and print support. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn various production processes while helping maintain daily production goals. The ideal candidate is adaptable, reliable, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where responsibilities may change throughout the shift based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly, quality control, packing, staging, finishing, and print support.

• Follow written work instructions, SOPs, or standardized processes.

• Perform quality inspections, quality checks, or detail-oriented production tasks.

• Meet productivity and attendance expectations in a fast-paced environment.

• Safely lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve production, quality, or operational goals.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, packaging, or general labor environments.

• Experience using hand and power tools.

• Experience with assembly production and packing.

• Experience with computer operation and inventory systems.

• Experience with 3D printers.

• Experience working in environments with changing priorities and cross-functional responsibilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with finishing, sanding, painting, 3D printing, or light industrial production.

• Experience using basic computer applications such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

Located in San Leandro, CA, the role follows a schedule from Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM - 10 PM, with a training schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. The position offers a competitive pay of $22.00/hour, which includes a 10% Swing Shift Differential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
